Insurance

I am currently billing Cigna and Aetna. While it can be beneficial to use insurance, there are some drawbacks. When billing insurance a mental health diagnosis is often required, which becomes a part of your health record. The insurance company is able to access diagnoses, assessments, and treatment plans. Insurance companies can dictate the length of treatment and modalities used. I prefer to work with each client as an individual, taking as long or as short as we need, and using what type of therapy is the best fit for YOU. With abuse and trauma the therapy room is a sacred space, and I want to keep your story between us.

If your insurance takes out-of-network providers, I am happy to work with them to provide documentation. If you have difficulty paying for sessions, please reach out to be regarding sliding scale appointments.
